Action vs. Reaction
“A life of reaction is a life of slavery, intellectually and spiritually. One must fight for a life of action, not reaction.” – Rita Mae Brown
You could march an army through the gap that separates action from reaction. It’s all about control. If you’re reacting, someone else is in control – pulling your strings and dictating what you say and do.
But if you’re acting, you’re in control – you’ve taken the strings off and are directing your own show.
Think of it this way:
You either have action or you have reaction and all that it brings with it, as in:reproach, regret, repentance, remorse, repine, and resentment.
Make each moment count double,
